I cut a 19 lb watermelon at the end of July...not quite ripe...some of the smaller ones are splitting open ..same with the pumpkins..had 3 pumpkins.. only 1 could be picked..I still have blooms on the vines..thought pumpkins didn't ripen til Sept or Oct?? help..too many questions.. right now no answers Thanks
