Why spend money, time and labor on something you know little or nothing about? Just being a butt head at this point.

OOPS I forgot to add - "Welcome to land of Ornamental Grass dialog".

I guess I trust my nursery person. They are having a 30% off sale. This is a business expense-I own an assisted living facility and have done all the planting and design. I knew I wanted ornamental grass back there and I was looking for a screen since a new street went in behind my property. I do have several other grasses. I can take this purchase back.

I have trouble just talking to myself let alone anyone else, husband or wife.

The most important part about ornamental grasses they are easy to care for and happy just about anywhere you put them.

If they don't work in the first location one can dig 'em up and try another spot.

The bad part about grasses is the time frame it takes for them to reach maturity, generally 3 years. Grasses are still worth the money, time and labor.

Enjoy your new pruchase. Onramental grasses, the man's perennial.

I like it. It obviously means large fountain, and that's what it is. It is an early bloomer for the miscanthus, so that's a plus for us. There's also a miscanthus sinensis 'Klein Fontane',little fountain, by the way, that's very nice. Polly
