My beautiful New england Pie pumpkin vines up and died on me, as did all my cucumber plants. The post-mortum investigation showed shreaded vines near the base, so I'm pretty sure it was SVB. It was devistating.

I was reading in some of my reference books that you can introduce "benefical Nematodes" to the soil to combat SVB. Can anybody give me any more specific information on this, including where I can get my hands on said nematodes?

Also, is it a good idea to skip planing any susceptible plants next year or does it matter?
