Birdhouse or bottle gourds make long vines. They also look really neat hanging and are always usefull in crafts even if just to give to friends.

All are pretty fast growing. I really like the looks of the tennessee spinning gourd vine. It is an orange flower gourd and will produce 100's of small gourds.

i have to agree with the bottle or birdhouse gourds. They grow and grown and grow. i have cut off the tips to promote femaleflowers and 2 days late will have 6 to 8 inch long shoots on them again. Minegot so big and heavy this year they pulled themselves offthe walls,

Birdhouse or swan gourds. Mine grew about foot a day after the seed sprouted and are still going. We have yanked them from 20 foot high trees behind the garden many times and they just keep going. Nice big leaves too - size of a dinner plate or larger. Great shade on a pergola.

I used to grow luffas to screen my back deck. I cant tell you how many people stopped to ask what those beautiful flowers were-lemon yellow large blooms. In the day time too, not at night. They quickly covered the deck railing.
