I've read somewhere that pampas grass can either be a male plant or a female plant. Is any one able to tell me if mine is a male or a female plant? I heard the female plant's bloom is more showy, fuzzy and fluffy. My first reaction was it was a male plant because the bloom isn't quite as fluffy as I had expected it to be. I planted it over a year ago in the ground. This is its first stalk of bloom.
