Since you seem to enjoy a great deal of woodland flowers particularly Azeleas and Rhododendrons, you might also enjoy visiting the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois - it's 1,600 acres is full of many delights, as is its new visitor center and its wonderful horticultural library, which is open to the public. It is a great research center to boot.
