I have harvested a few of my pumpkins but still have some in my patch. Some have changed color but I can still pierce the skin with my fingernail. Others still are partially green. Them stem has dried up on most of them. It had been dry until the 2 inches of rain and calling for more the next couple of days. Should I go ahead and harvest, especially if the stem is completely dry.
