I have an area of my yard that stays pretty well shaded all spring and summer by my neighbor's giant trees. I planted 4 All gold hakonechloa in this area, which I thought would be pretty good for them as it is also very moist. They were looking great. Then came September and now October and the sun is lower in the sky, Three of them are now getting some intense sun from about 11:30-2:30. Those three consequently don't look so good anymore. One of them looks like it's about to go altogether; I even erected a terrible looking temporary shade thing to help it out.

My question is, should I move them or wait it out? The temperatures here have been hot also, and are now looking like they're going to get more autumn-ish. The one that I planted in deeper shade looks beautiful. I have a couple of Carex grasses I could switch places with them if someone thinks that would be advisable. Thanks!
