You want Vetiveria zizanioides 'Monto' but you may have to order divisions from Australia. Try google for "Monto Vetiver"

...it's also known as Sunshine Vetiver or Louisiana Sunshine.

Thanks for the variety names. Do these sterile plants develop flower spikes? Or, are the sterile types flowerless?

According to the very few web resources I've found, they will flower under certain, undescribed, conditions, but do not set viable seed.

As stated by an earlier member, Vetiver grass (now reclassified as Chrysopogon zizaniodes) does produce occasional flower stems. The seed itself is sterile and will not germinate.
