If they are very large, maybe a long term art project....
or a therapy gourd.......or a coffee table. Those are the first things that came to my mind.
I would recommend a search for gourds or gourd art.
If you haven't done that already, I think you'll be surprised at what you'll find.

Thanks for your answer I will look for gourd art.I grow gourds for purplemartins and I guess I
must have got a few basket gourds mixed in.I look them up on the net and if they are under 20in. across they are
called basket gourds over 20 and they are called bushel basket gourds and mine are all about 15in.across and weigh
about 20 lbs.

ford8N-which gourds are you using for the purple martin houses? I would like to grow some to use for that purpose. Do you use several for a colony of martins?
