WOW!! IF they are mature gourds, that is a fantastic price. I would sure stock up, but only if they are mature. I like apple gourds the best because of their fairly flat surfaces which are nice for burning or painting. Genepa

Wow that is a great price. It is always nice when you find places that have good deals. I personally love driving to Lancaster PA to find good deals. I found this one amish stand that had any pumpkin a dollar, not just small ones even larger jack-o-lantern size ones and even the white lumina's. They also had large maxima's I guess about 50 pound ones ranging from 3 - 6 dollars. It was awesome I bought a bunch. I have seen pumpkins as big as these go for 40+ dollars.

Those $1 gourds are a bargain if they are dry, and nice and solid. I usually buy a hundred or so at that price also. There are some varieties I don't grow, so I always buy those at the farm.
