How does it compare with Miscanthus 'Gold Bar?'

It is a gold banding, play of the lighting, although maybe its a bit lighter than zebrinus.

Gold Bar is like a compact strictus, with vertical foliage and heavy banding. Super Stripe is like a compact Zebrinus, with arching foliage and heavy banding.

I've been growing some M. 'Gold Bar' this late summer and fall. Wow! Far more prolific banded variegation. I'll take a pic this week and post it.

Super Stripe is quite gold. And there is no comparison to Gold Bar. Two distincly different forms, and both very nice. I had Super Stripe for sale the first time this year, and it was very popular. I wish I had purchased more. It is an absolutely beautiful grass, in my opinion. Because of the striping, and the arching form, it seems to be going in every direction, almost, shall I say, busy looking. It really stands out. And it really shows off other golden items, such as Hemerocallis. I love it.
