Haylee turned Nine last Wednesday. She is a better artist than me.LOL I spray painted her a few Canteen and Bottle Gourds to work on tonight. She lives with us and she is getting interested in seeds and plants since I joined GW.
She has taken Cotton to show and tell. Today she took her little gourd that she painted last night. She put flowers and birds on it.

ok, whats next. i am now jealous of a nine year old. hehehe. cute, cute, cute! go haylee! :)

Ha! looks like you have enough to keep you busy. I only had that one shaped so perfect. David took it to school until Monday. It got to looking so nasty and ugly he brought it home. I scraped and cleaned it up so she could paint it. It has a little soft spot where the worm is.LOL

Emmy-You could cut a hole where the soft spot is and make a birdhouse out of it.I did one like that last year.Looked like the worm was crawling out of the hole.....Lillie

Emmy, the apple is adorable. Keep up her interest in gourding or whatever. I admire you for having her live with you. Our almost 17-year-old GD has been with us 8 years.

Emmy, ours are like our own kids, too. Actually, they are my step-grandkids. They call me Mother or Mom, depending on how mad they are at the time and they call their blood-grandfather Daddy. As the old saying goes, they keep you young or either kill you fast. LOL
