That one caught my eye too, Derek. It has the look of Deschampsia caespitosa (Tufted Hairgrass) but it appears to be huge! Very cool grass.

Deschampsia caespitosa? How! I thought it was Helictotrichon sempervirens that I already have.. then I need one of DC too!

I just bought 5 new Blue Festuca and yesterday was given a baby of -probable- Erianthus Ravennae (I'll post a picture of its 'parents' when I come back there).
My grass addiction is gettig serious!!!

Thanks for the comments: As for the name of the 4th pic down I don't know its name but I purchased it thinking it was Pumpas Grass and I soon relized that it wasn't pumpas grass.I had mail ordered it from a catlog. The green blades don't cut ya like pumpas grass would and the blooms are very thin and very tall. I always cut out the blooms because they don't stand upright and droop and fall over so bad.The blooms are about 2 feet taller then the green leaf blades get. Other wise its a nice grass and grows very fast. That plant is probably going on 4 or 5 years old in the picture. I think next spring I will try to devide the plant. Thats ganna be a job to do. After researching at grass sites I do believe it might be the Helictotrichon Sempervirens, Thanks again for the comments. I haven't ever had pumpas grass but I did find it at a local nursery last weekend and I purchased 2 one gal pots and I plan to get them planted this week hopefully. Sandy
