I'm wanting to take a Wisteria Vine and do a tree out of it. I've read all you have to do is steak it and keep the bottom portion clear. Is it really that simple or is there more to it than that. I know it's a LOT of pruning, but I really was expecting it to be more complex.

Also any tips are greatly appreciated.
