In early Spring I planted Hellebore Party Dress near a Birch tree. I have other types of Hellebore in the location, but this one seems to have perished? I only had one stalk and was doing fine all year till a couple of weeks ago, when it slowly turned yellow and eventually fell off. Now, I know Hellebore's loose there stalks ever year, however I am concerned because this was the only stalk and no new stalks have emerged in its place. Is this normal for such a young Hellebore? I never bought one so small before. It is located in Part Shade, and gets adequate water.

Thanks.
