How big are MY melons? I really don't think that's an appropriate question to be asking...

Oh, THOSE melons. Well, I'm growing Charantais for the first time too, and I don't think those are supposed to get very big. Sort of a single-serving size variety. My biggest one is about tennis ball size right now, with a few more little ones on the vine.

I have 4 melons on the vine right now and they are slightly bigger than a baseball. I only have one melon per plant.

Most of mine got to be the size of a small grapefruit. Best tasting melons ever.

It depends on the type of Charentais melon. My Savor type is the size of a grapefruit and still growing, while the Charentais melons that I ordered from Baker Heirloom Seed is bigger than a baseball but no bigger than a grapefruit.

My DH is growing Sharlyn melons this year. He has four big plants, lots of leaves, but no melons. :(
