The main problem affecting heuchera and the like is fungus. The most common is heuchera rust, but those spots are usually very round, hard and more of a copper color. Based on your picture, I would say that yours doesn't have heuchera rust but that it is most likely some other sort of fungus. Fungus tends to be what affects the leaves of heuchera. Molds and mildews tend to rot the stems and flowers.

Sterile pruning is your best bet. Snip off any affected leaves. Also, remove any dead or wet, squishy leaves at the base of the plant as these could be harboring fungus as well. Then, wait a week or two to see if the rest of the plant shows any signs of fungus. If not, you're in the clear. If so, you'll need to keep snipping away any leaves that show signs of disease. You can also hit your plant with a fungicide to bolster your efforts.

Make sure to sterilize your pruning tool with alcohol between prunings. Fungus is easily spread from plant to plant by using dirty tools. Also, be sure to check any neighboring heucheras/heucherellas for signs of disease as well.

It is a good idea to periodically check your plants for signs of fungus. It can crop up any time, particularly in wet and/or humid weather.

Thank you FF. I bought Earth-Tone garden fungicide. Copper Octanoate (copper soap) is the main ingredient. I hope the does the trick.
