Berry Smootie through the seasons?

Anyone with Berry Smoothie could you please tell me what to expect from the plant through the seasons regarding its color. If you have pics of what it looks like through out the year that would be great! All I can seem to find is pics of it when it bright bright bright but something tells me it doesn't look that way the whole year lol.

Hi Ashlie-I finally dug some pictures out that I feel are representative of 'Berry Smoothie'. This first one is of the bright color it shows in the spring. This picture was taken in March or April of this year.

This is a picture I just took today. As you can see, the color is mellowing out a bit as things heat up, but it's still pretty bright. The veins become prominent as the color mellows. Also, the new growth is always bright. (You can see some at the upper left of the plant.)

This is a picture I took of it at the end of August last year. The color has darkened and the veins are very prominent. However, you can see the newer growth is still nice and bright. This picture really highlights the different color changes that Berry Smoothie makes throughout the season because you can see all 3 at once.

All in all, an outstanding plant that offers year-round interest and color. I think everyone should have one.

Thanks so much. That was exactly what I was looking to see. I am going to use heuchera in lieu of annual flowers or roses in my formal garden as a mass planting between the boxwood hedges.

Well, 'Berry Smoothie' would be a great choice for color. It's hard to beat.

so excited just spoke with the Heuchera breeder here in the Netherlands and he special ordered heuchera berry smoothie tissue culture so he can fulfill my order. in september i'll be the proud owner of 72 heuchera berry smoothie mass planted in my front garden!!!! SO EXCITED!!! He is the only person in the country that sells them and a good price too. 3.95 a plant. If he didnt do this for me I would have had to consider buy from belgium or germany and those are 5 bucks a plant which would have cost a small fortune.
