    Hi Felix

The camera didn't capture the beauty of the place. When I went on the safari tour, everything was growing wild, without much effort. Soil is rich! A lot of fruits, vegetables, herbs for healing. Beautiful flowers and majestic trees!

By the way, looking out from the room, there was a chenille plant growing amongst other flowers. That remind me of one of your last postings. It was nice to see some of the flowers that I have seen posted here in another setting and combination.

Now, it is time for me to do a lot of harvesting home...

Beautiful pictures Silvia! Reminds me alot when we went to Jamaica. That waterfalls reminds me of Dunns Falls in Montego Bay if memory serves me correctly? Thanks for sharing!! I know you had a wonderful time!!

    Hi puglvr1
I was thinking of you when I was having my fill with the best mangoes!
I had one fruiting on the side of the window, they were gigantic. They told me that one of the best was a "black mango", not in season.

Jack Fruit, Nesberry, June plum and Otaheite apple were in season. The best wild papayas on the road!

The pictures are from Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The Mahoe waterfall is inside the Coyaba gardens.

And yes, we did go to Dunns Fall and it was a hard climb! Especially being next day that we did the Mahoe.

I saw your picture of the Lychee fruiting, nice! In Jamaica I saw some giant Lychee trees and I bought the Lychee liquor. I will let you know how it tastes.

I saw a cooking demonstration of jerk pork and chicken with a mango and papaya salsa. I can't wait to make it.

    I want to go back...already.

    Thank you Christine and Miranda

I made sure that I asked everything about plants and cooking when I was there. It is always good to learn something new.

The Otaheite apple might be a good tree to grow in our climate. It tastes more like a pear. Delicious!

Sweet potatoes were one of my favorites. Yams were another. They told me the best banana is burgundy color with yellow inside.

Almost all the houses had a fruiting bananas, Jackfruit, Ackee, Soursop. That reminded me how much I love Soursop in an ice cream flavor!

And I also had plenty of rum mix in the juice in a coconut. Reggae sounded good! :o)
