Roma Tomatoes doing well

I planted 8 Burpee Roma tomatoes back in January, started them in small pots and transplanted directly into the soil. Soil was ammended down to about 1 foot with some compost. I added coffee grounds to the surface until first flowers appeared and and kept it heavily mulched. Absolutely no chemical fertlizer was used, though I did top dress with some lime in February.

So far very flavourful tomatoes. My staking was inadequate. Had I staked properly I think my tomatoes could easily have reached 6-8 feet tall. In retrospect I wish had pruned early on as the tomatoes turned into green octopi branching all over the place. I have had enough for myself, and to share with the neighbours and tutu.

Again as an afterthought wish I had staked and pruned better, and had started some new ones earlier.
