Much depends on your altitude. If you're below 800 feet or so, kou (a native) is a nice choice. They're an attractive tree with pretty orange flowers.
Up to 1800 feet or so, you might try allspice ... they're handsome and they smell WONDERFUL.
The higher you go, the more likely you are to have success with mainland-type trees, like pines or cedars, both of which are nice along driveways.
Give us some more info on what kind of trees you want (shade, scent, flowers, dense, open) and your altitude.
