Erosion on Backyard hillside

We are looking for some suggestions to stop the erosion on our scalped hill. We have been planting trees and will continue to add trees and shrubs but the erosion is becoming worse. Any ideas as to rock placement? Zone 6b is what we are working with. Thank you!!!!!
