We have dreamed this dream for so long, and now we are trying to make it a reality, but we have so many questions, does anyone know if homesteading is still available in WA? Meaning living on land for a period of years and making improvements, so that the land becomes ours.

We have two of our three children still at home so we need to make sure we can make it work. We are trying to find land in Republic Wa, however work is pretty scarce. My husband is a equipment oprerator, with a class B CDL,and has many mechanical abilities as well. We want to live as self sustainable as posssible.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
