Beautiful! Few things make me as happy as hibiscus blooms, we're having a lot of different looking fall colors here too. :)

Would love to see more pictures!

I some times wonder if their colors do not also have something to do with the weather.

I have a hibiscus that has bloomed yellow all spring/summer.

And now that it has gotten cooler, a new bloom shows up and look what color it is.

I just brought it inside today. There are some more buds on it. I don't know if they will open or not. I don't know if it will survive the winter indoors, but I will give it the old college try!!

MurraysMom,
Let us know if you need any help. I am adding a few more winter blooms before I really start cutting them back.

Wally,
You are on the right track about the weather. The environment and nutrition have a significant impact on the blooms. Cooler temps and lower light levels can produce some very vivid colors that last. Some blooms will stay open for several days as they "mature".

The weather here can't make up its mind yet. I have a couple plants whose colors went blah with the cold and one,my path that is finally blooming nice!y as it cools off.
