Gorgeous! Woodridge quartzite would be gorgeous with that. You can do a stacked stone, although it's not easy to wipe down in areas behind stove and sink, or use it in another format.

It's a beautiful stone with a lot of movement in it. So, it needs to be the star of kitchen. Let the back splash take on a quite supporting role. Because there's a lot of movement in that stone, I'd opt for a quiet back splash in a taupe or grey. The back splash in th Jamaica Plain Kitchen above, looks like it would be a nice compliment.

Very pretty; I agree a soft color (neutral) would be great with it. The new glass tiles in a solid tone can also bring some interest, yet not compete with the countertop. A smooth surface backsplash is much easier to keep clean. Good luck.
