What is it about the concrete that you do not care for? Color? Texture? Plainness? It it indoors or outdoors? Has it been sealed yet? Please provide more information and you will get better suggestions.

The concrete patio is about 10 years old, it is discolored, cracked, has algae on it. It has never been sealed. It is outside, directly off the house on the back side. I will try to send pictures. Not sure where you are, but there are companies that can address these issues. They can do some restoration of the existing patio and then apply an overlay in various colors/designs. Do you live in a place where it snows ? btw it seems the casting is done wrongly , because if we do small blocks its easy to repair and seal but in your case I can see Cracks all over , are you handy ? if you are you could save money here and this can be a Diy , Good Luck
