It is hoya curtisii, and well worth picking up!

It's definitely a Curtisii, nice find, they don't come around all that often.

I too passed one a few months ago, but wouldn't pay $14 for a full pot of it, just wanted a few pieces to restart. Too bad I hadn't known of you then, I would have bought it & offered to split the pot w/ you.

There is totally no space for these 8' baskets for every hoya I want to have in my apartment, but it was back at the time that I did not feel the community's presence the way I do now. Now I'd just snatch it up and divide it into multiple parts for trades/gifts/sales/whatever. Kind of a no-brainer now.

At another time I saw three different variations of H. lacunosa (one had an umbel in bloom!) and a DS-70. All 8' pots, $15 each. Same thing - left them on the shelf. :-(

I did (and do) have small rooted plants from cuttings of one lacunosa, a curtisii and a DS-70 - that's why I could not justify picking them up. Is there such a thing as NON-buyer's remorse? 'Cause I think that's what I am feeling. :-)
