Trimming while in bloom

Hi all,

I know I have been away but it has been a crazy winter for me with too much to do and too little time to do it. But I have had time to care for my hoyas, always have time for that!

I have a compacta that has many blooms on it and those some vines that don't any way I brought it into work to show some of my students and let them smell the flowers (don't know if its true for all of them by mine smells like chocolate)!

One of my co-workers would like a clipping and I would be more than happy to give it to her but I am wondering if it is okay to clip them now or if I should wait until all the buds have opened on the flowering vines or if I can clip a vine that is not flowering without the plant aborting the the flowers on the other vines.

Hope that makes sense.

David if you are still on here you should see the clippings you sent me. They are out of control. I'll have to post pics soon!

Thanks,

Anne
