Am I reading your website correctly, these come with mattresses? Also, what are the porch specifications for hanging and using one of these? How do you test to see if your rafters are strong enough? Thank you!

The mattresses and cushions are available as an extra. Look under "Swing Things" tab on website. If your rafters can hold up your roof, they are strong enough to hold a swing. Thanks for your interest!

The swing has 3 sides. The two side pieces and a back piece. The all connect together when you assemble. The do not move after assembly. We are also using a thinner mattress so you have more of the sides to lean against. The swing beds come in twin and full (like this one).
