Well, if it does bloom, I guess it's a VERY healthy cutting! hahaha!

I have had a cutting bloom in a very high humidity environment before but it was a species that has small short lasting blooms. I wonder if a species that has larger blooms would have the energy to mature the buds?

I guess we'll see! I was advised by one source to gently rub the buds off the peduncle, so the roots would get all the energy . . . but my curiosity just won't let me do that!!!!

I've had many cuttings develope buds and go on to bloom. I like you was just to curious to remove them, and the cuttings went on to root just fine. I say go for it! Give it lots of humitity tho like Mike said, it's what I did as well.
