It doesn't matter . . . the hoya I was searching for isn't even in the catalog, this year. :(

My dream hoya, right now (hahaha) is H. macgillivrayi 'Mt Tozer, Iron Range' IML 0278. I've been having dreams about this hoya for the last two nights. It's making me nuts!!! Has anything similar ever happened to any of you? I kinda think I might be losing my mind. I guess this is the life of a "hoya nut"!

On a lighter note, I got a new bird, yesterday! He/she is a Green Cheek Conure named Amadeus. Very sweet. This is bird number eight.

I think my biggest addictions are hoyas and parrots!

Congratulations, Carolyn!! The Green Cheek conure is a real beauty...very playful! I had a pair until last July...they produced 5 chicks....I really miss them. Be sure to "handle" Amadeus frequently...they can turn very mean without enough attention...and their bite is extremely painful!! Best wishes! Patrick

Thank you, Patrick! I'm not too worried about birdie bites, though. As I said, this is #8 in our flock, and one of the smaller birds. :) My Meyers parrot tends to get jealous and try to take chunks out of my fingers, on occasion. And the Mitred Conure chomps down quite hard! hahaha

So far, so good, with this little one. He/she is already (easily) switching to Harrison's Bird Food from a seed diet. (I'm a great believer in Harrison's pellets for bird health.) Carolyn if you do find there is an order just ask for that specific IML # and I am sure it will be available. Plants that are not in large enough supply for many cuttings are often left out of the catalog.
