Hoya Fusca?

Definitely not Hoya fusca, talk about a common species masquerading as and ultra rare one. This is Hoya pubicalyx and by the look of the leaves and flowers I would guess it`s pubicalyx `Royal Hawaiian Purple` although the leaves are not showing much flecking. Because the ID is essentially lost it would be best to just call this one Hoya pubicalyx and leave it at that.

thanks guys i bought a small cutting of this plant for $5.00 NZ oh well its growing well atleast even if its named wrong. Can i ask what is the difference between red buttons royal hawian purple and jungle garden? thankyou everyone is so helpfull

From what I understand, 'Jungle Garden' will be similar to 'Pink Silver.'

Here is what Hoyor has to say about it: Hoya publicalyx 'Jungle Garden'

In a nutshell, the differences between Royal Hawaiian Purple and Pink Silver are that RHP's leaves are longer, narrower, and more pointy, they emerge a dark chocolate or burgundy color, and they turn red/pink in bright sunlight. Also the blooms vary from nearly black to purple and pink and can even be splotched. The flowers on Pink Silver and Jungle Garden are pink and more consistent. Their leaves start and stay green with silver flecks and are much more wider and more rounded.
