It looks like $8.80 NZ converts to about $7.25 US, which I think is a good price for an established plant in a 5" pot. As for the names, I've never heard of Black Boy, Jungle Garden or Powder Puff. Is there a website with photos? Krinkle Curl could be either 'Krinkle 8' or compacta, which I vaguely remember was once called 'Krinkle Curl'. All the others that I recognize would absolutely be worth buying at that price!

Pink Silver & Red Buttons are types of H. pubicalyx, that should give you an idea of leaf type & growth habit (climbing).

I agree it's a reasonable price, although personally I would be careful about verifying the identity of the plants as the vendor is using some wonky names.
Krinkle Curl (or Crinkle Curl), is the carnosa compacta cultivar 'Krinkle-8' according to CB.

'Jungle Garden' she lists as a publicalyx cultivar that is slightly different from 'Pink Silver.' Hoyor also cites this name in her cultivar list, as I recall.

'Variegata' could be either carnosa var. variegata (i.e. Krimson Queen) or variegated compacta (i.e. Regalis).

'Powder Puff' and 'Black Boy' I've never heard of and not been able to find a trace on.

All the others are, of course, established species or cultivars and you should easily be able to find pictures and information on all of them with a quick search.

Of the above, I grow: australis, linearis, obovata, polyneura, 'Pink Silver', 'Red Buttons', and serpens. They are all unfussy and easy to grow, for me. If I were going to pick a top 3 from this list, I'd pick serpens, obovata, and linearis.

If you do go choose some and have a camera I am sure we could probably ID the Powderpuff and Black Boy for you. I am curious to know what they might be.

Hoya Minibelle is Hoya shepherdii x Hoya carnosa and it's a nice one to grow.

Hoya obovata would be a good one for it's impressive leaves but I can't remember if you have this one already?

For the price (which is very good) I would probably pick up a few. I am glad to hear you finally found a source for Hoyas but I am sure you did quite a bit of searching.

Sorry, this conversation stopped 7 yrs ago, you'd do better making a new post for your question, identifying what part of the world you're in & then maybe folks can make suggestions where you can get Hoyas.
