Do all Aloes flower. I have one but have no idea which variety it is. This one seems to have much thicker skin than those I have had previously. The 'teeth' are also more pronounced and prickly than previous plants. There was some discussion about a year or so ago about aloes but we never got very far with it as not many people had experience with them.

I'm not sure. I know there are many different aloes which do flower, and the hummers tend to love the ones in my neighborhood which do flower, the Aloe Arborencis. The problem with this aloe plant is they are very seasonal, blooming only two months of the year. Perhaps you can consult with your local nursery or try cactus and/or succulent experts on the internet or at your local library.
