Thanks birdlegs and Blue interprid. Stephen I've never seen pink larkspur before is it a perennial or does it reseed? This one I bought either at Bowman's wildflower preserve or redbud native plant nursery and it's official name is Delphinium exaltatum it's a late summer perennial But this is the first time it ever survived. Sarah this Larkspur I have is an annual.I had one last year and this one volunteered from seed this year again.I have heard the term for Larkspurs as being "Annual Delphiniums". I'll have to find a pic of it but it's not much to look at!

Thank you Cat Penny and Paribear.Yes they love Delphiniums and this is native to the northeast midatlantic region I know there are many Delphinium native to California even a red one but I think there's only two native to the east coast and only this one is commonly available. Sarah
