ALberto, would it matter, the tigridia, like the flower on the hibiscus, only lasts for a day or so and then is gone.

The hummer would have to show up exactly at the time the flower is in bloom before dying.

Tigridia was a plant a neighbor introduced me to...gorgeous spotted thing it was and I thought the nature of bloom for one day before another shows up was exquisite.
