You sure did..what a theif..LOL Hey like your ant moat too..You have to give us good instructions with pictures..You know the basic 101 method..cause that looks neat..However, I did order my ant moats 2..one for here and of course one for Philly as I gather my belongings and soon to head up North...

We are kind of having a chill here in Sunny Florida..more like reverse weather..in the 40's this morning and now just about 60 with tail feather wind...

Watched those dare devils hang on and sip of the vine this morning..and when the wind blew dang it there was hardly anything to them...Feathers sure ruffled but they never gave up..Should have taken a video of that...

Rob, I'm sure you must sit back feet up and just watch the action on the porch...and a few laughs going on... aren't they amazing...better than TV some days

Thanks Vicky and Barb. I had high winds the last two days and a low temp of 39 last night. Today was warm, but there were fewer hummers. I hope this is the last cold front for the year. What happened to global warming!!? LOL
Barb, I'll take pictures the next time I make a moat and include instructions. They're ugly, but work. Your purchased moats are a lot nicer.

Well I'll have to withdraw my statement that both hummers are Black Chinned. The male might be a RT.
I say the female is Black Chinned because her wing tips are the same length as her tail feathers. The RT's wing tips are noticable shorter than the tail feathers.
Any help from the forum to distinguish the two species would be helpful.
