I had this plant, though not the Chinook cultivar. It did okay for two years but lanquished for me, probably from being overgrown by other plants but not really sure why it didn't do well. It did not take over the garden and never really ever spread like other mints. Although a good hummer attractor, I finally pulled mine out since it just didn't do well for me. I may try it in the future again in a different spot.
