I know how you feel - I posted my complaints about the bees hogging the feeders here in Midlothian too. I got several suggestions, but nothing worked too well. Finally, though, the bees are getting fewer and fewer, although they are not all gone. Here, we have tons of stuff blooming now, so maybe that's what they were waiting for. Just hang in there and keep all the feeders up. Late in the evening, the hummers will be able to drink as the bees "settle-in" (where ever that might bee).

I was doing some gardening this weekend, as I sat down to take a break, I was wearing flipflops, I felt it, yes I felt it right on my big toe, a bee got me. I had to take my feeders down. It makes me very, very sad, but there were just too many bees. I don't mind them, but my two small grandkids have been staying with us and I don't want them getting stung. I tried putting alot more sugar in one of the feeders, and moved it away from the others, it seem to be working, but that would mean I would still have alot of been in my yard. The kids will leave soon, and I will try the feeders again. I have alot of flowers blooming so I know they won't go hungry , but will the Hummers leave?

You might want to try the saucer-type feeders with the feeding ports on top. They're easy to clean and no bees...

I'm with Rita - the one I've got is the hummzinger - best designed hummingbird feeder EVER!

I fill mine about half full the hummers can reach the nectar, the bees can't. They may try for a while but they do give up.

Plus, since the reservoir is underneath there's no leaking/drips to attract bees either. It's a got a built in ant moat so you eliminate that problem too.

The only drawback is the price - about $15 for the small 4-seater model, but they have a lifetime warranty. I have two and would never use anything else.
