Question about Silene Pendula

Hello!

I had a question about a plant I saw at a local nursery. It was called Silene Pendula aka. Triump Catchfly. That name caught my eye because I have Silene Regia aka. Royal Catchfly in the yard. It's possibly the hummers favorite plant to visit. I've searched for information on Silene Pendula and haven't come up with much. I noted that the flowers look somewhat similar to those of Silene Regia. Does anyone know if it is also a good hummer plant?

Everwilde Farms has seed on their site.

FWIW, they have an icon of a hummer next to the pictured plant. Guess that means a draw for hummers?

You have probably already read my post on the other forum but in case you haven't ... I just purchased two of these plants at a local nursery b/c I couldn't find S. virginica or regia locally. I was told that it is a perennial but all the info I have found online says annual. Don't know if the hummers will use it or not but I have them planted out if my hummers ever return, I will let you know if it is used.
