Hummers and cold nectar,

20 years ago

I put some nectar in my hummer feeder yesterday right from the refrigerator as I have always done.A hummer was there in a few seconds.He went to all the port holes,put his beak in ,but would not drink.

Do they not like it when the nectar is cold?
