I deadhead mine so they don't waste energy producing seed so early in the season. I would also recommend giving them some fertilizer and a good drink. They'll probably take back off soon.

Thanks fore the advice as I am really hoping they will thrive and flower well! I have been watering them as it has been unseasonably hot and dry here. As far as fertalizer goes I planted them in a blend of mostly composted manure, some peat and a little bit of my native soil(largely clay & rocks). I was hoping that the composted manure would give them much of what they need for most of the summer, no? What do you thing do they need additional fertalizer?

Sounds like they have enough fertilizer. As long as you have good drainage it's hard to give them too much water.

Deadheading is virtually always good for repeat bloomers. Make sure what you deadhead is actually dead, though. It will usually be brown. You might leave a few alone, however, they spread by the seeds left from the blooms usually.
