Impatiens, Gartenmeister fuschia & million bells for me. I actually hate impatiens but bought one at the school plant sale. Once I saw the hummer repeatedly hit that plant, I get at least one every year. This year I bought 3 and have seen the hummer at all 3 (red, salmony, & multi containing purple/white/pink).

In addition to what Tracey mentioned, I discovered a plant that I don't want to be without. Since I am also in zone 6, I will have to overwinter it inside so that I have it ready to rehang in spring along with my cupheas, Some salvias, fucshias and others. It is Russelia equisetiformis aka Firecracker plant, Coral Plant, Fountain Plant. If you are familiar with an asparagus fern(Asparagus 'Sprengeri'), it has the same type of growth habit but there are small tubular red flowers scattered all along the arching stems. It makes quite a statement when it is blooming in a hanging basket.
