I just bought a new feeder at walmart $2.96 or $3.96 and it's all red. I don't think you can find them any cheapier. Christine (internetnut)

I bought 2 small round plastic feeders at Walmart last year; .50¢ each on clearance! Of course I can't find the second one. My hummers like this one better than the glass Perky Pet I had also purchased; it's been 'retired', since they won't use it! The cheapie has the screw on bottom, that splits apart, for oh-so-easy cleaning! I'll be going back to check at the end of the season again this year.

If it matters to you, your cheapo feeders from Wal-Mart are almost certainly made in China. P-P and HummZingers are made in the U.S. I've already raised hackles with my "nickle-and-diming" remark in another thread, but IMHO the same comment applies here. In my world, merely being cheapest is not always a plus.

Wow standard65, some of their feeders are adorable, I think I'm going to get one of those window feeders that looks kinda like the ones TexasPuddyPrint makes and I just adore.

I have the one from Lowes and it is really easy to clean.

There is a store called the Wild Bird Center in Exton. It is in the big old white house next to Toys R Us. I think their prices are usually pretty decent. You can find their phone number on Yahoo yellow pages and give them a call to see if they have the feeders and the prices.
