I have the same thing going on here my numbers have tripled. There is a good reason for that the young ones have arrived. If you have a way of closeup viewing you might be able to see some that have black spots on a white throat and those would be young males only the young males have that , females will not have those spots and the adult will have red or white throats, although if the sun is not hitting it right the throat may appear black.
