I've noticed the male hummer that I had been seeing at my feeder, several times a day, hasn't been around. I started changing my feeder more often in hopes that it would help. I think he must have found some great flowers in other peoples yards. I saw some hummer (probably him) at my neighbors hosta. My other thought is they are migratory, so maybe it was getting a little too hot here, for his liking. So he went a little more north. If this is what's happening, at least we'll get the ones that were further south. I saw a male fly up to my feeder, yesterday morning, but he saw me and flew off. After I was thinking he looked bigger than I'd remembered. I could have a new dominent male, that chased my smaller guy off. If so, hopefully he'll share with some females, the other guy sure didn't!
