Nothing but some wind and rain Standard. How are things with you. Last time I watch the weather what was left of Dennis was supposed to dump so large amounts of rain on your area.

My DH woke me earlier to tell me that "your hummingbirds are back at it this morning". They are all over the place. I guess it is the unsettled weather.

Mimidi! I'm so glad you and yours are ok! I'd be a basket case if I lived where you are. I got to drive thru Allison a couple of years ago and I don't ever want to do it again. It's great that the hummies knew where to go during the worst of the storm!

it began raining here about 10pm sunday night with some light wind. now there is a gentle misty rain falling straight down, and it has brought the hummers with it. there are several adult male rubies chasing each other and using the feeders nonstop. I've seen 2 in the time it took me to type this.
the only garden damages were a robert kemp canna that had just opened lost the blossom and my 5 foot tithonia mexican sunflower toppled onto my hibiscus, which is blooming. I staked up the tithonia. all is well. we really need this rain.
make that 4. 2 more sightings during that paragraph.

Glad to hear ya'll and the hummies are doing fine.

Now kick some of that wind and rain to south Texas. It's much too hot and humid down here. One good thing is that the hummies are emptying out the feeders daily.
