Looks like a handsome young male, Steve. I still have a few young ones and adult females but my numbers are down--and no adult males for two days.

Yes, Im having mostly young ones, but still see an occasional male . Saw one late but couldnt get a shot of him last night.

That's cool how you caught the beak opening a few times, and the tongue dipping into the sugar water.

I was trying to catch some tongue action not sure I caught it very well. The fact that he is not bothered and is able to do some much needed scratching says he's pretty relaxed on the feeder, also demonstrated by the time spent on the feeder, seemingly not bothered by my presense.
