My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I have been in the area for 10 years, moved off the beach and inland 1 year ago. I had no idea we had hummingbirds.
I was sure I saw one feeding my orange trumpet vine in late June. I absolutely just saw one on the same vine, and its August 8, and hotter than the hinges of hell.
Quick google search indicates they shouldn't be here.
Should I be surprised that I'm seeing them? They are brown.
Jimmy I am wondering if you saw a hummingbird moth especially since you say it was brown. Not saying you did not see a hummingbird but it doesn't sound like a Ruby-throated hummingbird and those are the ones aound the southeast right now.
I've lived in Orlando 30 years and only recently have I had hummingbirds - ever since I started growing flowers they are attracted to. Depending on how the sun reflects off them, their color changes.
